    Yeah, the Pixel sounds awesome.

    I have purchased a brand new smartphone for the first time since my Nokia N-Gage QD.
    I got a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro, and it's mindblowingly powerful for the money. I also like the "gold" much more than that pink hue Apple uses:

    Made a mistake while flashing software to it on the first day, though, and bricked it. Had to disassemble it completely and do this:

    Thankfully, even though it's made of metal and isn't supposed to be opened by the user, I managed to not damage it in absolutely any way and it's back to life now. I hope I never have to do that again.

    Nice phone.

    The Pixel will be my third phone since 2011. (Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S5, Pixel) I thought I was being conservative with my phones but that's still upgrading ever 2.5 years.

    I'm wondering about the likelihood Dell will update its Chromebook line in the next 3 months or so and poking around for advice.

    Not too impressed. Hardware isn't that much of a leap over The Pixel. Isn't even running Android 7.1 + Samsung bloatware = not a good experience.

    The screen is gorgeous. That's about all.

    I was thinking of buying a Pixel as my next phone when my iPhone breaks, but no headphone jack = no sale. LG or Samsung it is.
