Yeah I'm down for watching Jack Bauer pulling a Rambo in Africa. That's pretty much what I got out of that trailer.

Man, FOX is weird. They're airing Exile on November 23rd, but the extended cut DVD comes out two days later. That doesn't make me want to tune in to the broadcast at all.

My dad and I will sit down and watch it over the weekend (I'm going home for Thanksgiving). I'm so glad I got him hooked on the show at the start of Season 4. He's a huge fan now, and I'm trying to get him caught up on Seasons 1-3 as well.

PS: Thanksgiving dinner with the relatives must not interfere with me watching this. Maybe they'll show it online if I miss it. I doubt it. People should not get in the way of teh Bauer.

That wasn't bad, but a pretty generic, mildly exciting two hours. I wasn't bored I guess.

Redemption was well done, but it more so served the purpose of making me feel that Season 7 won't suck. In that regard it did its job pretty well. I did enjoy certain elements of the whole thing, but overall it was kind of forgettable.

Why do I have this feeling I'm the only one here that likes how the show has kicked off the new season? Some pretty good stuff so far, anyways.

those episodes weren't too bad. And now I'm convinced Tony is being forced to do this or something. No way they would capture him in the fucking premiere!

I'm surprised at the lukewarm reception. I found these four episodes to be vastly superior than the entirety of Season 6 already. I know that's not saying much, but it's a good sign.

I'm loving the A-Team angle, too.

I agree, it is much better then all of season 6, but no where near as good as season 5. So thus, it is lukewarm.

I dunno, season 5 was pretty bad as I remember it, other than the First Lady's love affair with Aaron.

Wasn't a different kind of Prez, in the guise of scheming Logan, rather refreshing as well?

Season 5 was pretty damn good. So far Season 7 is right up there in terms of that level, and that's fine by me. I loved the second and third hours, especially with the A-Team storyline that many of us have wanted to see happen for years coming to life.

Also I'm amused that the FBI, just like CTU all these years, has a leak.

If anything, I think this season might suffer from the obvious fanservice. It's so satisfyingly awesome--The A-Team, Jack-Tony love, Bauer's F-U to the torture Senate hearings, Jack kicking enormous ass--that you could've convinced me that it was fan fiction.

Oh well, not necessarily a bad thing.
