I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

How are seasons 4 and 5 of 24? I can get a good deal on them, I've seen the first 3 seasons already.

As a fan, I think season four is great while five left me initially dissapointed, but in hindsight, having seen season six which was incredibly mediocre and rehashed way too much, has grown on me a bit more. If you really enjoyed seasons 1~3, I don't feel you can do much wrong. Still, the law of diminishing returns is hard to shake in this show. Indeed, I might rank the seasons in the order that they aired.

Season 4 is enjoyable fluff, while season 5 went overboard with the shock value.
    Still worth seeing though.
(As far as I'm concerned both are better than season 3, which was terribly uneven)

Season 4 is the best season of the show. Season 5 is actually pretty damn good, and may end up being the last truly good season of the show. I'd rank the seasons as such:

    1. Season 4
    2. Season 1
    3. Season 5
    4. Season 2
    5. Season 3
    6. Season 6

I still need to revisit Season 3, and I plan on finally watching Season 2 on DVD which I bought a while back.

That hair would have been completely out of style in 1994.

    1. Season 1
    2. Season 5
    3. Season 2
    4. Season 3
    5. Season 4

I only stayed with Season 6 for the first quarter or so before I gave up, and all I heard constantly was that it only got worse from where I left off. The first five seasons, even if they got more and more implausible each year, I found to be consistently entertaining and amazingly gripping television.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

They have just started Season 4 on TV here, so I watched... my mind kept wandering, and I couldn't believe people actually enjoyed six seasons worth of that.

Dig dig dig, all day long, dig dig dig, while I sing this song.

This reminds me of when I recommended bac0n change his name to Minya.

I gave up halfway through the fourth series.

I think I saw a trailer for season 7 a little while which devoted some time to Bauer in court, heroically defending his actions, beating us over the heads with the following message:

Torture is GOOD and NECESSARY and GETS RESULTS.

    I'm never watching this show.

NEW YORK — Jon Voight has been cast as the villain on the upcoming season of the Fox drama "24." The seventh season kicks off in January, though Voight will make his first appearance during a two-hour "prequel" episode to air in November, Chris Alexander, a spokesman for the show, said Friday.

The 69-year-old actor's character will resurface in the second half of the regular season, Alexander said.

"I am thrilled and excited about being invited to be part of my favorite show `24,'" Voight said in a statement Friday. "I'm hoping to bring my very best to it."

The actor's previous TV experience includes the classic Western "Gunsmoke," in which he appeared in several episodes during the 1960s.

Voight, also known as the father of Angelina Jolie, won an Academy Award for best actor for the 1978 film "Coming Home," and has been nominated three other times for "Midnight Cowboy," "Runaway Train" and "Ali."

His big-screen credits include "Deliverance," "Mission: Impossible," "Transformers" and the "National Treasure" movies.
I'm not quite excited yet, but this is certainly a cool addition.

24 always manages to pull in some fairly big stars. Last season it was Powers Boothe, this season its Jon Voight. Awesome.
