I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Drop it into Raimi's Spider-man movies and you wouldn't see a difference.
The difference is that those are great.

The fact that they couldn't even bother finding their own trailer music (aren't they using that music in the Infinity War promos right now?) is perfect microcosm of how generic and derivative this whole thing looks.

Looks and sounds bad (“The guy you work for is an evil person” or whatever that crap was) and Hardy looks stiff and uncomfortable.

Ahhhh, ya bunch of haters. Looks great. I've always thought of Eddie Brock as stiff and uncomfortable in the comics. He doesnt fit well in society. Joining with the symbiote only let him be who he really is. I have hope for this.

This is the opposite of how I read him. He was a cocky jock type overachiever. He was my 2nd favorite character in the 90s.

I'm going to knock back a couple beers, a couple martinis, and hopefully enjoy the shit out of this one.

The first reaction tweets don't make it sound exactly good, but suddenly I'm more interested. At least Hardy will be *something* to see...

    Midnight Run (1988) - 9
    The Smiling Lieutenant (1931) - 8.5
    The Adventures of Robinhood (1938) - 8
    Sisters (1973) - 6.5
    Shin Godzilla (2016) - 7.5

Read other reviews then. It sounds like a generic waste of time.

I’ll rent the inevitable unrated cut.
