The fact that they couldn't even bother finding their own trailer music (aren't they using that music in the Infinity War promos right now?) is perfect microcosm of how generic and derivative this whole thing looks.

Looks and sounds bad (“The guy you work for is an evil person” or whatever that crap was) and Hardy looks stiff and uncomfortable.

Ahhhh, ya bunch of haters. Looks great. I've always thought of Eddie Brock as stiff and uncomfortable in the comics. He doesnt fit well in society. Joining with the symbiote only let him be who he really is. I have hope for this.
This is the opposite of how I read him. He was a cocky jock type overachiever. He was my 2nd favorite character in the 90s.Quoting Skitch (view post)
I agree and dont think the two descriptions are mutually exclusive. I think hes both.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
I'm going to knock back a couple beers, a couple martinis, and hopefully enjoy the shit out of this one.

Ha, I just noticed this today.Quoting DavidSeven (view post)

The first reaction tweets don't make it sound exactly good, but suddenly I'm more interested. At least Hardy will be *something* to see...
Midnight Run (1988) - 9
The Smiling Lieutenant (1931) - 8.5
The Adventures of Robinhood (1938) - 8
Sisters (1973) - 6.5
Shin Godzilla (2016) - 7.5
So apparently this is just awful.
Colour me not shocked.
From the tweets above? That's not what I'm reading.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
Doesn't sound too bad to me.
From the RT score and every reputable review I’ve read.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Read other reviews then. It sounds like a generic waste of time.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

Projected to make 60 mill over the weekend.
I’ll rent the inevitable unrated cut.
“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
I’m guessing the drop by next weekend will be monumental.
I sure hope theres an unrated with that 40 minutes hardy was talking about.
