OKC and Phoenix may be working on a trade which sends Kendrick Perkins, Jeremy Lamb, and a first-round pick to Phoenix in exchange for P.J. Tucker and Marcin Gortat. OH GOD PLEASE NO
    Contagion (Soderbergh, 2011) - 6.5
    The Descendants (Payne, 2011) - 7.5
    Midnight in Paris (Allen, 2011) - 5
    Margin Call (Chandor, 2011) - 6.5
The Ides of March (Clooney, 2011) - 5

That sounds terrible. Gortat is a great big man and Tucker has upside. Perkins and Lamb are not considerable replacements, and I don't trust the front office to either not make a terrible first round pick choice or trade it for cash, something they've done before. Goddamnit....

Kendrick Perkins is at best a average back up big man. Gortat is probably the sixth or seventh best center in the league. Bad trade for phoenix.

Rockets get: Thomas Robinson (#5 pick in 2012 draft), Francisco Garcia, Tyler Honeycutt, second-round pick (from Kings)
Kings get: Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich, Toney Douglas, and cash
Suns get: Marcus Morris, second-round pick (from Rockets)

LOL Kings. Geoff Petrie should be fired for this.

    Lin/Harden/Parsons/Robinson/Asik

    Not bad, Daryl Morey.

    WHOA MKG:

    Midnight in Paris (Allen, 2011) - 5

WTF? So that's the answer? Pairing him with his brother? I've given up on the front office, but I'm considering giving up on the Suns if they trade Gortat. I'm not kidding, either. As crazy as it sounds I'm starting to entertain the idea of Barkley being the GM. He couldn't be any worse than who they have now. I miss Steve Kerr-despite some of his missteps, overall he was responsible for building up the bench and making some solid draft picks.

    Pretty boring trades thus far.

    Raptors get: Sebastian Telfair
Suns get: Hamed Haddadi, second-round pick

    Celtics get: Jordan Crawford
    Wizards get: Leandro Barbosa

Grizzlies get: Dexter Pittman, second-round pick
    Heat get: trade exception

    Blazers get: Eric Maynor
    Thunder get: trade exception

Somewhat interesting that the Wizards decided to dump their third-leading scorer for an expiring contract. Barbosa's out for the year.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

    More relatively minor moves:

Bucks get: J.J. Redick, Gustavo Ayon, Ish Smith
Magic get: Doron Lamb, Tobias Harris, Beno Udrih

    Bobcats get: Josh McRoberts
    Magic get: Hakim Warrick

    Thunder get: Ronnie Brewer
    Knicks get: second-round draft pick

    Hawks get: Dahntay Jones
    Mavericks get: Anthony Morrow

Magic getting the tank on. Now the just need an excuse to sit Arron Afflalo. Nice pick-up by OKC for essentially nothing.

The Knicks have brought Kenyon Martin into the retirement home on a 10-day contract. Let's see how many old teammates he has on this team:

    Carmelo Anthony
    Raymond Felton
    Marcus Camby
    Jason Kidd
    J.R. Smith

Redick is the only really big one, as this means the Bucks will be able to weather Ellis possibly not re-signing with them in the off season. Otherwise I agree-the trades were quite dull. I blame the luxury tax for this, coupled with many teams being better off just sitting pat. Also Josh Smith thought he was worth more than he actually is, so he's stuck in Atlanta for now.

The first video makes me more depressed than anything else (and sums up the Suns' season). The second video is kind of funny.

Roy Hibbert was ejected, technical fouls on David West, David Lee, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson. Look out for upcoming suspensions...

That brawl was more funny than violent, although the suspensions will be warranted. Curry should have stayed out of the way.

Only Hibbert and Lee received one-game suspensions. Curry, Thompson, and Lance Stephenson were fined $35,000 each. Hmm.

Granted, I only watched the video once, but from memory Curry seemed as though he was perhaps the most deserving of a suspension, behind Hibbert.

Curry responded to being allowed to play by dropping 54 points and shooting 11 of 13 from 3 point land tonight. Goddamn.

It pumps me up. I've liked the Bucks ever since I went to see them play the baby Bulls in 2005 in Milwaukee. They had a decent stadium from what I remember, and I still own my ever so fading and shrinking Bucks t-shirt (I was too broke to get an actual jersey).

That was a fun one to watch. I wonder if players' thoughts on their career games are dampened by them being in a loss.
