This year I'll be loosely following the Jazz and The Kings. Gotta see how Jimmer does in his shortened rookie year.

Also Ostertag coming back to the D-League? Ha! I've gone to a couple Utah Blaze games and they're really exciting because it's really awful defense and basically a giant dunk contest.

Haha. I figured the Bulls were done, only to see them come back and win. Way to see Rose with the gamewinner and then Bryant's attempt get rejected.

Horrible execution in the final minutes by the Lakers. Murphy and McRoberts seem that they may prove to be adequate replacements for Odom. Blake should be starting. World Peace should be out of the rotation, not Barnes.

This was the first instance I saw of "World Peace" then I watched the first half of the Lakers Kings game (which was a fun watch, Jimmer was pretty good) and I was like, huh, there's World Peace, who is this guy? Turns out it's Ron Artest. What a dink.

Meanwhile the Suns managed to lose by one point to a Chris Paul-less Hornets team. Not a good start to the week.

I did miss Kevin Harlan calling games. I also think they may have found Metta a role on the team which actually fits - a bruiser on the low block with the second unit, rather than a spot-up shooter with the first unit.

Nuggets look to be a force. I got to go to the game, and once they pulled forward in the second half, they simply dominated. Nene at PF is going to be great. Kind of want to see more out of Mozgov is all.

And at the start of the season I agreed with SI that the Suns would be a lottery team. Now I'm more disappointed with the Jazz-I was hoping that young core would continue to gel, and there's still time, but the season is too short and there's no room for error.
