Kendrick Perkins is getting paid almost 9 million a year and this season he's averaging 3 points a game and 3 rebounds. Reggie Jackson their backup point guard who is almost a foot shorter is averaging more rebounds. OKC needs to amnesty him immediately.

Now I'm reading that the Lakers may be looking to trade Gasol for Bynum, and waive Bynum before January 7, when his salary for the second half of the season becomes guaranteed. The Cavaliers would need to include another player to make salary work. An Earl Clark / Shawne Williams swap would make it work.

Well, the Lakers couldn't get it done, and Luol Deng is now a Cavalier. Despite an 11-23 record, they are only three games out of a playoff spot right now. I guess we'll see if they can turn it around.
If you haven't picked up Anderson Varejao for your fantasy team by now, it's probably too late.He's a stats monster when he's been a full-time starter, and now that Bynum's out of the way, I see no reason for that not to continue.

More injuries. Eric Bledsoe is out indefinitely to have surgery to repair torn knee cartilage, Ryan Anderson is out indefinitely with a herniated disc in his back, and Jrue Holiday is out indefinitely with a stress fracture in his right tibia. Holiday's injury is the same holding out Kobe Bryant.
It's a rough year to be a point guard in the NBA. Here's hoping Damian Lillard and Tony Parker aren't felled by an injury.
