This is one of the rare NBA finals where I'd be happy if either team won. Both Golden State and Cleveland fans deserve a title.

    - Denver Nuggets hire Mike Malone as their new HC.

    - The Clippers meanwhile acquired Lance Stephenson from the Hornets in exchange of Matt Barnes and Spencer Hawes.

I won't be devastated if Cleveland loses. We weren't even supposed to be here this year anyway, and I feel like if either Love or Irving were healthy it would be over by now.

I would've given the Finals MVP to Lebron. Sportswriters are so boring and unimaginative.

The boring and unimaginative choice would have been to give it to Lebron. Iguadola was the right choice.

Lebron was unquestionably the "most valuable" player in this tightly contested series. Giving it to the player who played best on the winning team is a mindless default choice. GSW probably would've won this series without Igoudala to be honest with you.

Yes. David Lee would've taken his place and nobody would've really noticed.

In fact, can't say I even know of a game where I'd say that Igoudala was the reason that the Warriors won.

This post shows you are completely clueless about the game of basketball.

If you can't understand how David Lee couldn't have done what Iguodola did then just read every single sports news article on the subject that has been posted since the game last night. Or you can see all the interviews with the Warriors where people like Draymond Green say Iguodola's finals performance "saved their season".

Here's Zach Lowe from Grantland's take on Iguodola's importance in the series:

"But Iguodala bought in, and in the team’s most pressurized moment, he saved the season. Golden State had no one else who could contain LeBron James; Kerr called timeouts to rush Iguodala back into the game on LeBron’s tail, and finally started him in Game 4. In the 48 hours before Game 6, Iguodala took on a more vocal role than anyone could remember, team officials say. He talked to players about the urgency of this moment — the importance of winning Game 6 and avoiding the terror of a rested James in one winner-take-all game. Iguodala repeated the word “six” so often, team officials say, that it almost seemed as if he were trying to nestle it into each player’s brain as some sort of internal mantra.

Meanwhile, with their season on the line, the Cavaliers stuck Timofey Mozgov on Iguodala and conceded open shots. They would live and die with Iguodala’s offense.

They died. It was the crowning achievement of Iguodala’s basketball life — the backroom artisan doing such spectacular work that no one had any choice but to thrust him into the spotlight."

They can call the Warriors the Golden State Wildcats. Hurray for Arizona basketball I guess. The series went out with a whimper.

Playoff seedings could be based solely on wins, losses

They should get rid of conferences as well.

So the Warriors are going undefeated this year, Curry wins MVP, and Porzingis is basically Hakeem Olojuwan with Dirk's outside shot. No-brainer HoFer already.
