Yeah Joe Johnson was a really egregious pick. Lowry or Stephenson probably deserved it.

Stephenson is the biggest flop artist in the league. I'm glad they didn't reward him.

The Spurs signed Shannon Brown to a 10 day contract who for some reason didn't get picked up by anyone after the Suns waived him last season. So the Timberwolves have been giving major minutes to Alexey Shved who is one of the worst players in the league when they could have signed Shannon Brown for next to nothing.

I was surprised that the Wizards dumped him after the Gortat trade, and yes, I was shocked that no one had picked him up. I hope he sticks somewhere. He could be frustrating at times when he was playing for the Lakers, but he did help them win two rings.Quoting EyesWideOpen (view post)

LeBron VS. Gareth, who's better at acting?
I guess LeBron can't bite with a mouthpiece.Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)
How bad does Cleveland have to be to lose to a Lakers team that couldn't even send out a full roster by the end of the game? Wow. I wish I had seen it.

That's why they need to get rid of the refs and start over. It is one of the things Stern always talks about that the ref is not supposed to call a foul if they don't see it. They are not supposed to make a call based on the players exaggeration. She was behind the play and didn't call a foul until Lebron flew to the ground. She couldn't have seen any of the "contact" so she was not in a place to make a foul call. The ref in front of the play didn't call a foul because he could see the flop.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

The Clippers just put up 46 in the first quarter on the 76ers. They are up by 31 points. I'm not sure whether to be impressed by the Clips or embarrassed for the 76ers. Both, I guess.
100-51 after three quarters. I've settled on embarrassed for the 76ers.
The 76ers are committed to tanking hard. Really committed.

LOL the Lakers roster is so decimated that a player on a 10-day contract not only started, but played 37 minutes. They were down to one healthy guard at one point in last night's game.
This is the second straight game that Nash has had to come out early because of the nerve problems in his leg. I'm beginning to think his 40th birthday performance is going to be a one-off deal.

Last night made me wish that Bledsoe was healthy. Still it doesn't account for letting LeBron drop 33 points. Meanwhile the Jazz seemed confused as they keep winning games when the smart move would probably be to tank out the season. Maybe they'll end up with a Top 5 Draft Pick anyways.

I take it I didn't miss much last night? And I would rather watch KD play LeBron one on one than sit through the All Star Game. But I'll probably still tune in tonight.

Hell yes. I fully support Sheed as coach. I bought cheap court side seats to Pistons/Bucks on the 31st of March. Can't wait.
Danny Granger is getting bought out by Philadelphia. I think he ends up in Miami, or with the Clippers.
Um... WOW

lol Knicks. Just lol. Dolan will never allow this team to do anything substantial.
The Lakers beat OKC on ABC today. Jodie Meeks scored 42 points. Westbrook/Durant scored 47 combined.

All the Rubio hate lately has me baffled. Bill Simmons bashs on him constantly. He's not a great shooter but he does everything else at a high level.
He's fifth in the league in assists, second in steals, second in rebounding by a point guard, and third in assists to turnovers ranking for starting point guards.
