My parents took out a life insurance policy on me when I was 17. And getting a will has been on my to-do list since I bought a house.
We're a morbid family.

Oh! Well, what the hell? If you have it to spare, that's money you want to spend then.Quoting Benny Profane (view post)
(Congrats on the baby, too. August babies are the best babies).
Quick: what is the most inappropriate thing you can wear to your son's wedding?
EDIT: This is the mother of the groom, not the father of the groom. Rep to whomever guesses what this lady I know is wearing for realsies.

Come on, you're almost there. You have to think like a crazy lady.Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)

It can't be her wedding dress. It just can't.Quoting Mara (view post)

I.... I have no words.Quoting Mara (view post)
I asked my friend (the groom's sister) to take pictures. I'm really hoping I can have a visual of this fantastic moment.
...and the milk's in me.
Well, at least she's not wearing the bride's wedding dress..

Apparently, her exact words to her children were "You can't tell me what to wear."

I don't think I "know" anyone who has more stranger things happen to them more frequently than you do. It's insane.Quoting Mara (view post)
Yeah, we're gonna need pics.

Think of the worst sinus pressure headache you've ever had.
Now imagine it at 30,000 feet, and the plane begins its descent.

I'm not going to the wedding myself (it's in San Diego) but I am FB friends with at least three attendees. I think my chance of getting pics are pretty good.Quoting Scar (view post)

I went to the Georgia Aquarium today....loved loved loved it.
I posted 38 pics and 6 or 7 videos on Facebook. If anyone wants to see them, let me know. I also uploaded four of the videos to Youtube and , I can post them if you guys want.
My roommate is making me crazy. On several levels.
But on one of them, she has this thing where she mentions pretty much constantly how men are always hitting on her, and making rude and vulgar comments about wanting her. She always puts it in the form of a complaint.
...and... they're not. There's just no way that she's being hit on by men all the time. It's not happening, and I can't figure out why she keeps saying it is.
