I suppose wishing someone would ask for another Westing Game was a bit optimistic on my part.

I think you're the only one who won or placed. Your patience is impressive.

Eh, I'll think of something fun to do.

I hope you guys liked the 100 points the dow is surging today. I am convinced that it's due to the all the money I spent these past few days, what with replacing a broken down dryer and replacing the tires on one of the cars.

Gonna see if I can get the blood test results tomorrow. The MRI results will be sent to the neurologist in about 3-5 days.

This won't have been the first time I hock Hyperbole and a Half, but you really must read The God of Cake all the way to the end. I was trying so hard not to laugh out loud at my desk that I may have popped a blood vessel.

    Last night...

Me: Are you free Saturday night?
Girl: I'm going to be in Westchester, actually.
Me: Why, what's going on up there?
Girl: My friend's parents have a house there and they're going to be away for the weekend, so we're just gonna have the house all to ourselves. But really, I just need to see some trees.
Me: Hey, you know what else is in Westchester?
Girl: What, Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters?
    Me: *melts*

I don't know why, but her saying the actual name instead of "X-Mansion" or "X-Men's headquarters" or something like that made it all the more hotter.

These two are simultaneously the best two artistic frames for that story...and the most soul-flaying images of terror I've seen in a while.

Got some of the blood test results back. Doesn't seem to be anything in those of particular concern. About half of them were sent out for analysis, so I won't get those results for another few days.

I got a broken windshield ticket last friday. My windshield has had 3 long cracks in it that go the entire length of the windshield for almost three years now and I finally got a ticket. I kept putting off getting it replaced because I just use the car to go back and forth to work and was hoping to have gotten rid of it by now but too late.

$127 for the ticket and $200 for a new windshield.
