That's a shame. We'll miss your contributions, but I hope you get out of your break what you hope to get out of it.

It's more Stittsville, to be honest.

This is a suburb we moved into when it was basically a farming community centralized around a train station.

It has become a suburb full of mansions where NHL hockey players live (no joke - Daniel Alfredsson, Ron Tugnut and Ray Emery all lived across the street from me at different times).

It's very rich, and life here feels like "The Hills". But I'm the one guy who's not rich or good looking.
Still it would probably be better to hate Stittsvilians rather than Ottowans en masse.

I'm annoyed by flash mobs and I'm trying to figure out why.

I think it's probably the implicit smugness. Like, oh look at me! I am a free independent spirit while you who watch are merely a lifeless cog enslaved to the machine! Throw off your chains, slave! Why can you not let the music set you free and dance? Dance, I say, dance!

Screw you, flash mobbers. You don't know me.

I don't care so much about the fans because most people I know who watch it, watch it as a comedy. Like "these people are frickin' ridiculous".

It's the actual people in the show that drive me nuts. I just don't understand that lifestyle or mentality at all.

Jersey Shore seems to be a pretty good show based on a few episodes. I don't see what the problem is.

They're still a huge part of the problem - they're still watching.

I think ICP is now my favorite band. A twenty-year long joke with, "We're Christians" as the punchline.

"Well," Violent J says, "science is… we don't really… that's like…" He pauses. Then he waves his hands as if to say, "OK, an analogy": "If you're trying to fuck a girl, but her mom's home, fuck her mom! You understand? You want to fuck the girl, but her mom's home? Fuck the mom. See?"

Whew. I'm all kinds of repulsed that they kept their "charade" going even while kids were committing heinous acts while dressed up like them, claiming to be their followers. For them to even pretend at this point that it was all some master plan to get kids to follow Christ is abhorrent and disingenuous on a staggering level.

That's a totally Christian attitude. When John asked "Whom should I fuck?" Jesus said, "Always the mom."
