She does have a plain face, but I think it's interesting enough. She'd be reasonably attractive with "normal" makeup, but I've never seen her do that.

Oh Ke$ha. She's so awful to listen to live (I heard it on SNL) that the comment someone made on here makes sense. Something along the lines of picking some clubbing good-looking everyday girl, throw the current trend in fashion on her, and see if the producers can do the rest.

I think she's prettier as a brunette without her heavy makeup and big sunglasses.

Yeah, Gaga was at her best looking just before she got hugely popular. The incredibly pale skin and bizarre makeup tones don't make her attractive. It just separates her from the Ke$ha's, Katy Perry's, and Aguilera's that are out right now.

I'm ready for autotune to go the way of the synthesizer. There are some songs that are able to use it to interesting effect, but as an overall trend, it's utterly obnoxious.

I might care about Lady Gaga if her music was worth a damn and she wasn't such a relentless attention whore. As is, I have a hard time caring about her either way. She just exists, in the same way the Kardashians and those people on The Hills exist.

She's a great singer. Whether the actual music is your cup o' tea or not, this is simply a silly comment. She clearly has a lot more reason to be famous than either of the groups of people you mentioned above who have literally done nothing to achieve their fame except have money and access to publicists.
