How did a product that cool end up on a website so lame?
I have no idea. I try not to question the good.

Some of the things they have on the site are a bit NSFW, so be careful.

Well, thanks, Jen. Now I've gone ahead and lost 30 dollars to a purchase of that damn shower curtain. I hope you're happy.

That's an awesome shower curtain, but I doubt if I could ever bring myself to give money to a site that sells, well, everything else it sells.

Sycophant, thanks for implicitly suggesting that I lack a soul. It's appreciated. 'Tis ok, anyway, I've put in six months of my life to working at Wal-Mart, so this is another lateral step.

They're probably factoring in junior and community colleges as well, not just university.

I'm kind of an NPR junkie. One of the local NPR affiliates airs a program called "Young America," apparently. Well, I just heard the theme song for this program.

IT IS THE WORST FUCKING THING I HAVE EVER HEARD

Seriously. I'd try to find a link for you guys to bear witness to this, but I can't risk hearing the song again.

THE WORST FUCKING THING I HAVE EVER HEARD.

My soul cannot weather hearing it again. Worst. Fucking. Thing. Ever.

Even worse than the theme to As It Happens?

While I was walking to class today I noticed through the haze of the snow falling that a construction type vehicle was heading my way, so I had to move to the side. Then another one came down the path and I had to backtrack really fast to avoid getting run over. I almost felt like I was in one of those adventure games or movies heh. Both were being used to clear the snow, but still I didn't want to get ran over....

I heard it from a podcast.

    http://www.podcastblaster.com/direct...dcast-282.html

It plays a little bit into the podcast.

I, with all my heart, disagree with syco on this matter. Do I think it's a good song? Not really, no. However, did it make me cry rainbows? Yes. I don't know what that means, but it happened, and it was glorious.

Ah. I was searching under "Young America". Listening now.

EDIT: It was pretty terrible. Not "worst ever", but certainly not something I want to hear again.

In concluding the arduous editing of a friend's half-scripted wedding video, I chose to end it with a title card saying "The Beginning." It's corny as hell, but what else is marriage for?
