All hail your corporate overlords! I'll probably be voting third party in 2008. This will be followed by me deciding to lie on my back and watch the world go to hell.

More people should vote like me:

If there is no one worth voting for, LEAVE IT BLANK, "none of the above." Don't just vote to vote. A truly wasted vote is a vote given to someone who doesn't truly deserve it. I don't believe in voting for the evil of two lessers. If no one is good enough, then no one should win. Period.

But I wouldn't be doing that. I'd be voting libertarian, which is more closer to my views (although most of the time I'm more of a moderate Republican). I do plan on trying to caucus this year and vote for either Ron Paul or Fred Thompson, although I do like Obama in some regards.

I swear, Cafferty is one of the only people on network news with any integrity.
But he forgot to mention that flag-waiving and prayers are a greater gift than insurance.

I agree about Cafferty. I haven't seen him nearly often enough, but whenever I do, he's doing exactly what a news anchor should be doing.

my feet are cold and i'm tired and I may go to my local H.S. football game tonight because it's their first playoff game since 1993, but it's $8 and I'm pretty well broke.

I love Countdown. I just wish he'd stop covering Brittany Spears every other day.

Yeah, he can get caught up in the humor of his show, but when he wants to take someone or something to task, there's no one better for my money.

I don't watch the cable news channels. But I may give Keith a chance considering all of the good things I've heard about him.

He strikes me as a bit of a manufactured personality, but I suppose you need to "play the game" to survive during prime time news. I just wish he didn't spend half of his program every evening covering nonsense.

The fact that I have to share the planet Earth with them is quite enough. That I have to have insects in my apartment is a crime and I will never accept it.

I too side mostly with the libertarians. So long as you vote for someone who truly deserves the position, your vote is not wasted.

You'd better learn to comfortably cozy up to them. After all, if you survive nuclear war, they'll be your new overlords during nuclear winter.

That's for sure. I certainly don't mind the humor since it ends up being like a more detailed and informative, yet still entertaining version of the Daily Show. I always look forward to the Worst Persons in the World segment.

I saw an outdoors performance of The Comedy of Errors last night that was interrupted at least three times by trains running within a quarter mile of the stage, and one nearly ran over a crew member's car before the show even started! No one had any reason to think the tracks were still in use.

Heh. Well that and the mutants. Hopefully you'll have 70s era Charlton Heston to help you with those.

You're dangerously close to negative rep. It's Beck.
