    Hope you're doing well Kueh.

It was good to get out of town for a few days:

I have a very busy head. I have inside voices that I have learned to contain.

My dad gives me shit for running 20 pound fluorocarbon fishing line on the lake. Let’s just say it’s a heavy duty line that is extremely abrasive resistant, especially when a sharp tooth northern is cruising the weed lines.

If you hear line screaming of my reel, don’t ask, just grab the net.

I've never caught a northern although I've tried multiple times. One of these days.

    Pet peeve:

People who pronounce the word "skull" as "skoal".

Silly pet peeve, yes. But it drives me mad.

Pet peeve: People who talk about "the Gaze" (male, female, or otherwise) but clearly haven't read Laura Mulvey's essay "Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema."
    Just because...
The Holiday (Nancy Meyers, 2006) cold
Asako I & II (Hamaguchi Ryusuke, 2018) mild
The Strange Love of Martha Ivers (Lewis Milestone, 1946) mild

The last book I read was...
    Underworld by Don DeLillo
