Speaking of the Corrie, it's been locked up and the guy running it is deleting the forums. End of an era. I'm not sure I care about that one going, but there were some good folks still there that I enjoyed communicating with. Oh well. I just hastily edited my e-mail address into my signature there, so hopefully other people will see it, and get in touch with me that way once the forum's gone. Still, though... WHAT THE FUCK EPI, THAT WAS MY MAIN MOTHERFUCKING FORUM. Anyway, whoever's running the show here at the moment might need to keep their eye peeled for some new registrations here soon, in case that's the sort of thing that requires mod-activation here.

What's going on here with the ads? I think somebody mentioned it in the maintenance thread with the new people signing up, but in the last few days something changed. I keep getting fullscreen ads and sometimes when I click on a thread I get a redirect popup ad. Usually it just happens once when I first load up the site but today has been noticeably worse, I'm getting hit with them almost every other page.
Giving up in 2020. Who cares.

I have an ad blocker, so can't say I've experienced that at all.
I’ve been getting new browser windows opening up when I click on the site sometimes from my iPhone.

Yeah, in my 4-5 years on this forum I never had any ads or pop-ups before, so I had been puzzling about what people're saying about them lately. Then today I got it when entering the site, and 3-4 more times while browsing.
