tbh I shouldn't have responded originally and regret doing so. Done now.
I dont agree. You couldve responded without getting snared to other snarky bits. Ditto everyone.

If you wanna stan for Facebook and fellate Zuckerberg, jfc man, at least know what you're signing up for.
I don't. I just think there's way bigger and way lower hanging fruit to go after rather than a smug college dropout.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

But this country is owned by like 7 corporations. Dont mistake me bd, I'm not arguing against you, I'm just trying to understand your stance. I'm an anarchist, so we can burn this whole motherfucker to the ground for all I care.
My basic stance--which is not so much a legal stance as a pragmatic one--is that if a social media company is too big to moderate the content that gets posted to it, then that company should be broken up. Of course, that presumes that social media companies actually want to moderate content, which Facebook clearly does not as that would be bad for their bottom line.

The government didn't break up Microsoft and allowed AOL Time Warner to exist. They certainly won't break up Facebook.

Exactly. And Microsoft was strong-arming companies to use IE over Netscape. "Preinstall our shit or we won't put our product in your store".

Everyone loves Microsoft now? Xbox FTW!

No I agree with you. At the same time Duke is right that people love the Xbox. Now that one Windows system that failed...not so much. Corporations and brands are heavily woven into our lives. I wish I could say that's a modern thing but we know it's not.

Listening to Queen’s Greatest hits on vinyl with a gin and tonic in hand. My second one, actually.

    Been that kind of week.

Even though the basement isn’t finished, we have quite the entertainment system downstairs. I grew tired of listening to vinyl and watching movies with the atmos system while sitting in a nice lawn chair.

So, I went out and bought two recliners, loaded them up (two trips), and got them in the basement by myself.

Officially moved in. In a makeshift setup at the moment. BOXES EVERYWHERE.

Only had to make two drips to Lowes yesterday. Movers were awesome.

    One more trip this morning.

Baby loves her new room. Need shades though for naps.

My office fucking rules but there's just a pile of shit everywhere. Pics later?

Planning on making a trip to Ikea on Tuesday to build "Super desk". One part gaming heaven. One part COVID WFH. Essentially the mullet version of a desk setup. Business in the front, party in the back.

    Thanks Meg.

Here's a quickie of the office space. No lights and I waited too long to take pictures so sorry for the darkness.
