My company has a good vacation plan, but you have to use those days for "sick leave" as well, which I've always considered to be stupid. In Canada, it's some national law that they have to provide sick leave, so it'll be easy to implement if they ever get around to it.

They introduced legislation in January of 2018 saying that all employees are guaranteed 2 paid sick days a year, as well as 10 unpaid with no questions asked.
Then about 2 months later they took that away.
I am a store manager for a very large company, and I dont have a single sick day.
Vacation time though?
Less than 2 weeks.
And cannot be used for sick time.
