As I tried to say before: The complaints are interesting to me in aggregate. The details matter less than the effect. Let people bitch and overreach. When the dust settles, we'll have moved forward and a little backward and the whole thing might approach balance.

Was suppose to fly out of Minneapolis at around 4 PM today. I didn't want to risk any types of delays/cancellations, so I switched it to the earliest flight at 5 AM instead.
Protestors have blocked access to both terminals as of right now. Yikes.

I don't know what is confusing about my stance. It just means that discussion of social issues should be evidence-based. If you claim that Black Lives Matter protests have led to an increase in violence directed at police officers, while the statistics show no such trend, then that is not 'your truth'. That is 'your misconception'. And you are hurting the search for a solution by clinging to it. Likewise, if you claim that Islam is a religion of peace and that terrorist violence has nothing to do with specific calls in the Koran to kill 'infidels', then you are being disingenuous and not considering a relevant piece of evidence that has been laid in front of you. 'My truth' is holding up a snowball in congress and claiming that means there's no climate change. I think the world would be a better place if we approached social issues more like scientists and less like lawyers.
