I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Too cool an encounter, damu. She seems like the most awesome.

She's going to be in a new sitcom with Paul Rust. Best recent entertainment news.

    I don't watch TV.

You should totally lost it on her Twitter feed with the caption "Holy shit! I met Anna Kendrick!" Or something like that.

Gals outside my office are talking. Everyone knows being a bridesmaid is crazy expensive already, but one of the girls has a friend who in addition to a destination wedding, is having a separate destination bachelorette party over memorial day weekend, and she doesn't know how to tell her friend she can't spend $800 for flights, hotel, food, alchohol, etc.

Who asks their friend to do something like that?

Ehh... I have a male friend who has a friend that did this to him as well. Bachelor party at some castle they had to share the rental cost on. No matter what sex you are rich people are often just thoughtless assholes.

My two best friends both had Bachelor parties in Las Vegas and Steamboat Springs. They didn't spend a dime.

My friends would never do that. Or if they did, they would give an easy out: "I'd love it if you can come, but I understand it's a huge commitment. Let me know if you can't make it happen."

The only time I was a formal bridesmaid my friend was lovely about the whole thing. I bought the dress and had to fly out (she lived in a different state) but there were no crazy expenses. The bachelorette party was dinner in a nice restaurant. It was a beautiful wedding and a great experience.

Yep. Unless just the people getting married are involved and doing it by themselves.

My niece and I have a tradition where we decorate a gingerbread house together and she gives it to her parents for Christmas. This year I'm baking it from a mold instead of getting it premade.

    We'll see.

I'm catching a flight to Japan at 7am on Christmas morning. Looking forward to a sad airline Christmas dinner.

Yep. Friend of a friend is having a black tie wedding because, "it will be fun to get dressed up!" Never mind the expense they just imposed on anyone who wants to attend their wedding.

I know two people that went to a Gwar concert last week as well. Previously my only exposure to them was via Beavis and Butthead.
