In light of all this good employment news, K has a really good lead that tonight transformed into a quasi-offer that with a couple of days and our fingers crossed will crystallize into a concrete opportunity. Also, I'm continuing to find new satisfaction in my own work, so things are great.

Well, I hate to slam the brakes on it, but my contract job at an advertising agency ends as soon as next week, and I have my doubts they'll keep me on despite all my hard work because they don't have the workload to have full-time employees year-round.
I do have a few leads that may or may not pan out because it's the holidays and that's a slow period for freelance work.
I also have plenty of money saved up, but that doesn't kill my massive anxiety about the future.
