They said in Elvis Mitchell's podcast that they conceive their sketches not as short films but as plucked out scenes from a feature. I think it's why their characters always seem so fully fleshed out. My favorite thing about them is how they are truly actors and disappear into the characters, rather than playing up their comic personas like most sketch shows (even Chappelle).
I know they're good actors, but their comedy just doesn't work for me. Granted, I've only seen the sketches you guys post, but their stuff seems too basic - also, pure pop culture jokes don't cut it for me. I defend WKUK because they're so completely anarchic, and you never know what they're gonna pull next. Also, it seems to me that they have more content.

Yeah, dude dropped his phone and fell in trying to grab it. He died. Two other people jumped in to rescue him. One died and the other is now in the hospital.
I read he was trying to take a picture of the river when it slipped from his hand. Cellphone addiction can kill you.

So the picture is just funny that they took a picture with Liam Neeson after they did a bit talking about how badass he is? Not funny.
No, it's funny to people who watch the show b/c that sketch is 2 years old and has been a recurring one since then. The pic with Neeson is new. I don't think any of us care whether you find it funny or not.

Plus it means the valet dudes are gonna meet Neesons in the new season. Epic.

My commentary could have been left out if someone just fucking explained the photo when it was posted. But hey, thanks 2 pages later after I had already researched it.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

So true. Even in sketches I don't find as funny--Continental Breakfast, Wendell, etc.--I'm still impressed by the acting.

Wendell's music video is awesome, though.

I just didn't find it as funny as my husband, but after weeks of him saying "I love being incontinent!" and talking about fpoons, it's grown on me.
Recently, a friend sent me a text message that read, "What will you think of next, Germany?" lol.

Yeah I don't really like the Neesons bits but that sketch is gold.

For my money, Insult Comic can't be beat. The commentary there on the nature of comedy is pretty extraordinary.

They're really funny, and really smart about what they do. I don't often like a lot of modern comedy, but I love K&P.

I've been waiting twenty minutes for a meeting with a superior. I can hear him yelling sarcastically in the hallway at other people. There is no chance this will be a good meeting.

Perhaps not as actorly as these, but this is what I appreciate about my favorite other sketch shows, like Kids in the Hall and Mr. Show. Even when they're tics are being played up, the characters seem like they exist in life or in a greater context somehow.
