Well, I am half Mexican and various members of my family are pretty good Mexican cooks. I'm fairly familiar with good Mexican food and rarely trust restaurants to make it at all. Even when people have recommended a place on the basis of it finally being "real authentic Mexican food" I'm usually still disappointed. So that's not likely to happen unless someone I'm eating with is craving it.

By the way, this convention center is fucking massive.
But you haven't tried the taquitos from the 7/11 behind Petco Park.

Any of you comic-con folks have recommended places to eat in the Gaslamp District? I'll be going to Searsucker on Thursday but otherwise looking for any place or price range that might be worth it. Walking around just saw too many places and couldn't choose.
I like Subway. Have you been there? It might be a west coast thing only.
    Sure why not?

Seriously? I thought it was well known to be a national/intentional fast food restaurant.

I mean, it is the largest restaurant chain on Earth.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Speaking of food, here's Anthony Bourdain and Michael K Williams trying food in my neighborhood. What's funny is that they unexpectedly and unscriptedly bump into another The Wire actor who I'd always suspected lives in my area because his photo is framed on a brunch place I like a couple of blocks away from me.

Can't wait to see the whole episode.

Although NY had no Mexican food, the sheer amount of possibilities sure makes it a problem that's worth having.

CO has numerous Mexican food places, many of the ones downtown are shit though, trying to be drinks only. Disappointing thing is their drinks are fascinating.

a friend of mine randomly ran into michael k williams in crown heights awhile back and then a few hours later bumped into jamie hector as well. apparently not an unprecedented phenomenon.

I've learned to say fuck it and get Chipotle if I want a burrito. Whatever, it's at least consistent.

Could you please get a new avatar? It's also making me go insane. I'm completely fine if Brude decides to have it again, I just can't segment it correctly.

Just tell me a movie and I'll make one for you. It drives me crazy.

We once yelled at Qrazy to get an avatar. Then he got the same avatar he uses now!

I never had an intervention staged, but I got told to change my princess avatar that I wore for 2 or 3 years on many occasions.
