43 posts per day? Jesus. I have this mental image of KF frantically clicking refresh in a dimly lit room while his children look on from the doorway in teary-eyed dismay.

"Daddy, come out. We miss you"

"Not now, kids. A new trailer's just been posted. People need my thoughts on how terrible it looks".

    "But...but...daddy.."

    "Goddamnit, I said not now!"

I have lost all motivation to do school work.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.

I just lost my 'new' job at the DVD store on account of poor social skills and general lethargy. It wouldn't be so bad if I actually had no idea that I was slacking off. It feels like everywhere I look, a giant 'FAIL' jpg is in front of me. What a shitty day.

Well, the first night the site went up I had 77 posts. I rarely post from home, unless it's right before I go to bed. I do almost all of my posting from work. That number will go down (I hope), but yeah, 43 posts a day is a bit embarrassing.

I hate the holidays, partly because I used to love them but now find myself unable to do so.

I lost most of my motivation to do school work quite a while ago. I long for the days of assignments and exams; research is just too open ended for me to motivate myself to do it.

Winston needs to get a job as a comedy writer. He's solid gold.
I am impatient of all misery in others that is not mad. Thou should'st go mad, blacksmith; say, why dost thou not go mad? How can'st thou endure without being mad? Do the heavens yet hate thee, that thou can'st not go mad?

I pretty much agree with this.

In the Match Cut sitcom, Kurosawa Fan and Winston's relationship is what keeps the viewers tuning in, week after week.

I would say Winston is Charlie Sheen, KF is Jon Cryer.

Maybe not Cryer, but I bet she'd be all over Duckie.

What kind of Highlander reference is that?
The one that uses, um, I donno, the tagline from the film? What do you want me to do, actually go look up and post quotes from the film? I don't see the point of your post :|

    You quoted the tagline incorrectly.

I havnen't seen any more Highlander than the occasional 20-second snippets of the television show I'd catch while looking for Silk Stalkings or La Femme Nikita on the USA network, and I recognized the fault of that reference.

I just heard an advertisement for The Mike Tirico Show on ESPN Radio and every sound bite was of Scott Van Pelt. Seriously, has anyone listened to his show since he's taken over for Dan Patrick? It's terrible. The guy knows next to nothing about sports. His co-host (whomever it may be) is the only reason to tune in. Van Pelt should have the show to himself. He's much better than Tirico.

I have always loved Van Pelt. He went to my alma mater.

Anyone would've been a big downgrade from Patrick, but I agree that most of his co-hosts would've been better than Tirico himself. I love Van Pelt, but not as much when he's with Tirico. Two golf geeks in the same room does not make for compelling radio.
