I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I'll do you one better. I absentmindedly clicked the link in that post. It opened up a new tab and about one second later, I was like, "Nah, this aint right." so I closed the tab. I hope I do not have computer ebola now. Running malwarebytes atm.

    Did you find something?

Very odd if my PW was compromised and that's what they chose to do with access.

It didn't find anything, no. I was thinking maybe a keylogger or somesuch, but it came back clean.

But then I also use KeyScrambler when I'm paying bills or any time I have to put in a password to something important.

Clicked the thread, but not the link inside it. Seemed too good to be true without a catch.

After playing around with my charcoal grill some, I can definitely attest that there is a difference.

Time to try something a little more tough... thinking beer can chicken first. Work my way to ribs.

Oh yeah, I've been charcoal or bust all my life. Barely even know how to operate a propane grill.

Related note, I got my grilled pizza game pretty well down after a bit of a rough start.

Best of luck on the beer can chicken, tho I doubt you will need any; it's pretty easy. Pro-tip - halve some baby red taters, toss them with some olive oil and salt/pepper and throw them in there along with the chicken. They'll take about the same amount of time to cook.

I just saw some videos about hard/soft-boiling eggs on the grill. I'm trying that shit next time I fire it up.

I'm usually propane, but fully admit charcoal is better taste. Propane just more convenient and quicker when you need to whip up some burgers and dogs for kids and such. btw, tater tots on grill are the shit.

    Random thoughts...random thoughts...

The conversation of Marvel v DC absolutely infuriates me. I don't care if its movies or books or whatever. I hate it. And I hate when people engage it. Yeah...I prefer one. But my dollars go to both, even. People that make noise about one or other...I think you had precious life. I got beat up for reading comic books. Not because it was from certain label. I hid it in another book, got found out. Thats why the this v that infuriates me. Its corporate driven nonsense. Make a good book and I'll be there. If you blah blah blah "I'm a [this corporate art only] person!" youre a freak.

Heck, even leftovers with a reheat exude that charcoal smell.

Yes, I had my leftovers as a "brunch" of sorts...

Oh, just wait until you incorporate wood smoke....

I smoked some burgers over the weekend. Not a waste. One wood chunk is all you’ll need on the coals, and cook indirectly.

    Yes sir.

I agree that propane grilling is easier but charcoal smells and cooks better.

I have an apology to make.

To all of you, but especially to Duke.

I don't think it's news that this year has been more stressful than most in recent memory, for all of us.

While continuing to run my store (we never closed), the stress has been pretty unimaginable. I have unpleasant confrontations with customers nearly daily, the stress being put on us from both head office and government officials has been immense, and the general feel of the entire world has just been oppressive.

To deal with that, I have developed quite a major drinking habit and have also gotten back into drugs (which I haven't been into in nearly a decade).

And I have found myself becoming angry without outlet, or even rational thought.

So I took it out on here, and mostly on Duke. Someone who, sure, has some different political/ societal views from me, but did not and does not deserve the vitriol I've spewed his way for the past months. I found myself coming back to MC specifically to look for posts by Duke that I could irrationally pick fights with.

I am truly sorry for my behavior the last while.

    Duke, I'm sorry.
