I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I started it last night and finished it today. Hurry up and finish so we can discuss. So many questions...

Like, are we really supposed to be rooting for this psycho Mr Brooks?

Is this one of those summers where the entirety of Match Cut watches the same movie? This happened with F For Fake and Torque in year's past.

I've seen both of those. I haven't seen Mr. Brooks yet.

I never got around to F but Torque is one of the grandest pieces of cinematic shit ever made. I watch it at least every other year. Fucking hilarious.

I watched it during the Age of Torque. I remember enjoying its ridiculousness, but never rewatched it.

I still think F For Fake is Welles' best film. I saw Torque again on TV last year and it is still wonderfully dumb as hell. Lots of fun, love it.

I didn't forget. I was mushroom hunting with my dad for his birthday. I overexerted myself. After the second walk, I fainted, landed on my face, concussed myself. It took them a while to find me. I was unconscious maybe 15 minutes. Memory loss, nausea, loss of bladder control...it was a day. Got a big bag of mushrooms though.

So after that, I did forget to message you Nada. I'm sorry.

Well I guess I did forget but then I'm a drunk! I go mushroom hunting like Skitch in my living room every night!

Seriously, though, cheers to you and hope you had a great one.

After reading this, I needed to remind myself you're a real person in the world and not a popular character on a hit show.

I'm out walking the dog at night for the first time since we ended the curfew. I'm listening to a classical playlist and at the precise time we walked out to the Danube pier, The Blue Danube comes on...

Things about America that people from other countries find confusing.

Some good stuff here. Glad to see the general consensus that the health care system in the USA is so beyond FUBAR it's insane.

But still, all hail the glorious capitalist utopia.

Well I finally made a halfway decent resume tonight and applied for two full time jobs. My work cut my hours back in March so I don't have a choice, really.

I don't understand why American football is popular because it's so boring to watch. I understand basketball because each play lasts twenty-four seconds and there's very little turnover time between plays. But American football is ninety percent turnover time with very little actual game playing.
