The 60 minutes report does not address anything that isn't already covered in the War Zone report I linked, and the many, many reports they've written on this topic over the years (I would encourage people to not only read the report I linked but follow many of the hyperlinks within that article to other reports as they provide more context).Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

That WarZone site seems a bit sketchy.
Well written, but sketchy.

"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Did you not know about the physical photos then? Those are posted in your link.Quoting Stay Puft (view post)
Why would I not have seen the photos when I clearly linked to an article that had them? I feel like we've miscommunicated somewhere.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

There can't be many more depressing songs than "Nutshell" by Alice in Chains.
Jesus, that song could make Mr. Rogers think dark thoughts.

Oh, that was worded poorly perhaps; I did not mean that there was no visual evidence of UAPs as there is obviously plenty. Not just photos, but even videos (e.g. the Nimitz incident). What I was trying to point out is that much of the focus in mainstream reporting is on the physics-defying nature of specific UAPs, but that the evidence for these physics-defying characteristics has only been observed by electronic detection systems. I quoted a couple brief extracts from the article that I thought would clarify this, specifically:Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
As these systems can be exploited through electronic warfare, that seems like the best hypothesis at the moment. But obviously that's only one hypothesis, and I do try to keep an open mind on topics like this.

As someone who used to play a lot of guitar, I was always fascinated with Jerry Cantrell's riffs. He strumming patterns were always interesting. He could take the most common of chords and turn it into something really cool.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
As for depressing songs go, Fade Into You by Mazzy Star always sounds like credits are rolling and my life is flashing before my eyes.
I love Fade Into You. Great album, too. But yeah not the happiest song.

And it's happened once again
I'll turn to a friend

And sees through the master plan
But everybody's gone
And I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well, I guess this is growing up
Yup. Great tune though, and off of my favorite Staley-era AiC record to boot (although my absolute #1 song from that era of the band will likely always be "Would?"; "Into the flood agaaain...").Quoting megladon8 (view post)
