Actually, not about the forums. Really, just about themselves.
Walk in balancing a pancake on your head. Introduce yourself as Oolong.
A strong choice.
I never played DQ VIII, but it seems to have a purely British cast. Rare stuff in VO. Agreed on ME, including the preference for "FemShep". J-Hale all the way.
They got really, REALLY slammed for having made that.
I think they come from the comment sections.
So, staying with my own typical subject matter, what voice performances from games really stand out to you?
We all are. Apparently, the backlog of posts will be exported in time.
Addendum -
The forums seem to have forcibly plopped a bunch of noobs from the movie-specific forums on our lap. Those of you who had any inklings of returning may want to wait for the rest of us...
Here.
I know most of you all don't post there anymore, and I'm not saying that I'm gonna just up and ignore Match Cut from now on, but for those who are interested/curious, they're back. Ryan said...
Piloted by the Ghost of Christmas Future.
If this were an LA job, then yeah, it would be their responsibility. But this is coming through my agent in Georgia, and I believe the client is there as well (or, at least, they're not in Cali). So...
Don't keep us in suspense, you cad.
I have decided that there should be a crossover between King Kong and A Christmas Carol.
Don't you want to see Tiny Tim riding around on Kong's shoulders?
GOOD: Y'know that audition I mentioned earlier in this thread? The one where, amongst others, I did a throat-ripping Macho Man Savage? I think I may have gotten the radio spot. Score!
BAD:...
If I'm gonna watch a weirdo version of Greek mythology that gets nothing right, I'll take that with James Woods in his all-time best role and Rip Torn pretending to be nice, thankyouverymuch.
Kathy Bates.
No gospel music? No Mickey Goldmill satyr? No anachronistic studio-executive-as-Satan?
Pass.
I think there are. Most people aren't as well-traveled through VO epherema as we are. Even if they like voice actors, or cartoons in general, they may not have really seen all these people or heard...
Drugs.
Based on baby brains.
Admittedly, I think the documentary is geared more towards those who have just never seen/known/learned anything about VO before. I really didn't learn anything new, myself. (In fact, even the Bob...
For reference, the movie can be found easily online, like on Amazon Prime.

In the grand scheme of the series, J'onn probably gets the least amount of personal development; in fact, his biggest changes occur off-screen in Season 5. But they still do a few compelling bits and...
They deliberately didn't want to go that route with Aquaman, partially because it had been done before (Superfriends), and partially because the character had been perceived as such a joke (again,...
Jumping back in time to vote on this film.
It's important to remember that this is a VO world that is an even smaller subset of what is already a small subset of the entertainment industry. Folks...
