Wipers - Pushing the Extreme
Not a band I ever expected to enjoy this much.
Bongo Joe - Innocent Little Doggy
Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band - Once There Was a Coloured Girl
Who else could match that title and a refrain involving a "Yankee humbug/stumblebum Neo-Nazi" with such breezy, sophisticated...
Heard both now, but still slightly prefer Boris. The less polished production gives it a homey, human element missing in a lot of its ilk. And "Texas Armadillo" is just too fun.
Totally digging the first Yezda Urfa album right now. Definitely the way I like my 'normal' prog: basically, not normal at all.
Ol' Dirty Bastard - I Can't Wait
 in the best way possible.
"The Shining Path" is the best song ever.
I'm straight up :frustrated:/:evil: when it comes to "Casimir Pulaski Day."
I never saw this thread until it was too late. :(
But I'll definitely make sure to add to the next ones, 'cuz this is a great idea.
Lucia Pamela is a goddess.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS.
Fab 5 Freddy - Change the Beat
:pritch: for all three of you.
______
Ras Kass - Nature of the Threat
Awesome, even with the homophobic undertones.
Today I am a man.
I totally just watched Troll 2.
Blind Guardian - Time Stands Still (At the Iron Hill)
EPIC.
New Fiery Furnaces double live leak. Just delving in, and it won't be fully digested for a few days, but no dissapointment so far once I adjusted to the hack'n'slash patch-work medley aesthetic.
I'd go out to the forest and find a hundred thousands reps to give this post.
New Erykah Badu album is living up to the hype so far (7 tracks in, out of 11.) The two Madlib-produced tracks are especially satisfying, with the Yamasuki Singers-sampling "The Healer" being my...
Wimmens:
Shirley Collins
Dagmar Krause (Henry Cow, Die City Preachers, I.D. Company, News from Babel)
Yma Sumac
Ella Fitzgerald
Helen Kane
Nina Simone
Claudia Gonson (the Magnetic Fields)...
I thought he was just imitating Roast Beef.
Katamari = WIN, always. That Roisin Murphy song is excellent, too.
I keep thinking that I'll do one these lists after the current one finishes, but I'm a lazy bum. Maybe I'll just do a top 50...
PSB are great.
YES.
Big thumbs up for the last two. I could watch Kate Bush videos all day.
EDIT: Well, last two before the last one now.
LOL @ Jerry Harrison's dance attempt @ 3:17.
I really need to see Stop Making Sense.
