November 7.
That looks aweeeeesome.
Phil have you seen Fog Hill of Five Elements? A Chinese production with incredible style and art design. Short three-episode series until it went on hiatus. Still there, it seems.
Hey, Fry -- just found out this exists and wondered what you thought of it. Worth a watch?
ETA: Also, do you have a blog or twitter feed or whatever where you post about animation? I'd like to give it a follow.
Absolutely. Over the Garden Wall is pretty much flawless and a Halloween staple for me.
Please tell me what you think after you finish.
My Twitter.
Over the Garden Wall is fantastic Autumn viewing. There's a central narrative, but much of its time is spent zigzagging between different interpretations of an Americana folklore pastiche, occasionally to its detriment but mostly wonderful. The voice acting is pitch-perfect, the songs/music are terrific overall (tho often unfairly short) to the point that I own the score/soundtrack on vinyl, and it can be quite frightening. I love it and feel the urge to rewatch it every fall.
Really can't emphasize this show's quality enough:

Watched it last night. I struggled a little to figure out the plot (mostly because the translation I found from the first episode was most likely done by someone not fluent in English), but the visuals, and specially the fight scenes were great. I specially love the sense of speed and choreography in the fights, and the use of color. It reminded me of Avatar: TLA and Samurai Jack. I hope the next episode comes sooner rather than later.
That show was so good.
Looks fun.
