LOL!
Played the DmC demo today, and I liked it. It was fun, and the combat was pretty cool. Don't know if I'll pick it up new or anything, but I don't get all the hate.

Max Payne 3 $15 on steam
Dead Island with all DLC for $6.49? Don't mind if I do.
Wow, BL2 is down to 35 clams on amazon. Glad I took your advice Duke!
After my "calm" little rant I went ahead and beat Advanced mode. With ample use of the multiple-freeze blast I was able to keep most of the baddies at bay while I beat the shit out of three or four at a time.
Still, those bugs were there and they were maddening. That said, I'm back to loving the game.
Finished God Of War 3. While the ending climax was epic and great, why no save for like the last freakin' hour?? Followed by another industry staple that I believe everyone hates...unskipable credits, also with no save before them. I was late to Thanksgiving because I didn't want to redo an hour of play.
On to tackle Arkham City.
Tough call.
I don't buy a lot of games. I just can't fit it into my budget, but I do have it to buy one right now, and I cant decide: Assassin's Creed III or Borderlands 2.
Any advice, guys?
I had a blast with Borderlands (and I hear they improved the sequel), and I found Assassin's Creed to be very promising but ultimately very irritating (though I hear they improved with the sequels). I vote Borderlands 2.
They're so incredibly different I think it comes down to which style of gameplay you prefer - first person shooting or 3rd person platforming and combat.
Both are enormous open worlds you'll spend dozens of hours in, just depends what will keep your attention longer.
Buying LA Noire on Amazon for $9.99. Whee.

Finished the new Borderlands 2 DLC. Good but I liked the Pirate one better.
Wow indeed to Walking Dead - Episode V.
What an ending. I'll have to play through again and see what happens, but yeesh....
ordered:
Assassin's Creed 3 - $35
Saints Row The Third The Full Package - $25
Spec Ops: The Line - $15
Max Payne - $15
pretty good haul. can't think of anything else i wanted to get
Dead Island GOTY Edition for $10. Should I pull the trigger? I've heard mixed opinions.
KF, I don't personally recommend it. I played it for a couple weeks before growing bored of it. The zombies you encounter scale to your level, which means you can't just find an area with easy zombies to hack up if you just want to do that sort of thing.
In other news, I picked up XCOM for $35. Gonna throw it in tonight.
One of the few games I actually had to quit playing. None of it was truly bad I believe, but I suppose the fetch quests, and the game seems to consist only of them, eventually wore me down. Athough I've also read that it's certainly a more survival horror game than resident evil 5, and I guess that is correct, but it's just not as much fun.
Dead Island was $7 for me. I've had X-Box Live Arcade games for more. So I got it.
MLB The Show - $15
Madden - $25.
Just waiting on Far Cry 3.
