I don't think I ever made it past the halfway point in Ocarina myself (if that), but you know you're playing a great game when just half of it is enough to make it one of your all-time favorites, you know?

So... this, uh... seems like kind of a big deal:
Sony Buying Bungie
3.2 billion to buy Destiny 2.
Okay...
Wow, that sounds super fun. An open sandboxy world I get to parkour around in? I'm in.
The first one was quite fun. It's fun to run around the city in the daytime and smack around slow zombies, but at night all the crazy scary and difficult zombies come out. You're running your ass off to get away from them with not much more than a flashlight. Then they start giving you missions where you're sure to be a long ways away from home base when night falls.
I'm debating picking it up, though.
It was a really strange show.
Elden Ring racking up monster scores.
It never sat right with me that I abandoned this game after playing the early stretch of it. Sure, it seemed a bit empty and I wasn't feeling the bow and arrow combat, but it also looked absolutely fabulous, played well, and had an original setting with fearsome, original foes. So now I jumped right into it again, and the map has really opened up, I've bought an unlimited travel pack, and I'm now at the point where I feel pretty badass tracking and slaying these beasts. Definitely glad I started this up again because when I'm not playing it I think about playing it. You know, that sort of feeling. :)

That was the first JRPG I ever played, and I loved it dearly, but I'll never revisit it. Better to love it forever.
