Switzerland and UK are planning to not force anything on the population beyond the usual advice and information. The external calculations of possible casualties are staggering. What's worse, many regions of the US could be hit just as hard. We can only wait, as it will all play out in the next two weeks.
I'm curious where it can go - narratively, both of the sequels were misfires, too concerned with their own individual trivialities to contribute to the larger story we all felt was there, but AniMatrix offers tantalizing thoughts on the philosophy of the world that the first movie was so concerned with.
If they can pull this off, it might lead to a reconsideration of the previous two installments, which I'm open to.

This has been done filming for several months now and still the only thing we've seen from it is that picture of Reeves and Moss on a motorcycle.
Trailer soon? Something? Anything?
I mean... filming wrapped on Marvel's the Eternals on February 4, 2020... and we just got the first trailer TOday.
I like all the Matrix stuff. Always have. Yes, even part three.
After years of talking about it, my buddy is finally watching the 13th Floor. He said, "the only thing I heard about it is its a rip off of the Matrix". I told him there are a couple similar sci-fi ideas, but its nothing like the Matrix.
I thought about it some more after our conversation. They both came out in 1999. I would state that the Matrix sequels are more guilty of directly ripping off ideas from 13th Floor than vice versa (especially considering they came out the same year).
Almost 20 years on, and I still haven't worked up the enthusiasm to rewatch Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions. They were so dour and dull. Maybe I will give the trilogy a run just before this comes out. Maybe.
Reeves and Moss were in my city for a day recently, for some performance capture and scanning at 3Lateral, the Epic company that created the Metahuman creator for Unreal. My friend who works there said they both had Matrix real world buzz cuts and what they did wasn't for the movie at all.... So, a game? Tie in or separate? We'll see.
Hmmm I'm guessing video game for sure.
Also, anyone else find it odd that they announced Christina Ricci being added to the cast a good 3-4 months after the movie finished filming?
Officially called Matrix Resurrections

What in the fuck
Clever what they did with the time. I wonder if they used an AI voice for that, or if the dude had to record 1440 different lines.
I saw the early screen caps. They look fantastic.
Looks like a slightly different colour palette/visual style, which is refreshing.
Someone combined the teaser clips together.

It looks, uh.......very John Wick. So much so that when it shows something distinctly Matrixlike, it's almost jarring.
Did I just see a mouse cursor on the screen in the actual movie?
