Have the same actor play both the master and the doctor? No thanks.

Just wanted to say that I watched the first episode of the 2005 series last night and I really liked it. I'll definitely check out the rest of the series. Eccleston and Piper were both excellent!
I've been watching the new series very recently. I never really saw the old one, except in bits and pieces as a child.
Anyway, I'm up to the third season. The new series started out a little silly and cheap-looking, but has really smoothed into an enjoyable ride. David Tennant is brilliant.
I'm also a big fan (maybe even bigger) of the spin-off Torchwood. Two words: Captain Jack.
The second episode was ok. The aliens looked cheap, but then again they did have a certain charm to it.
I just saw the episode "Blink," which was awesome, but now I'm afraid of weeping angels and I think I need to change my avatar.
Jack doesn't age so well...

The season 4 finale is gonna be so awesome.:pritch:

I can't wait for them to be reunited. *hyper*

It never made sense how the daleks were able to build fleets etc considering they have neither hands, telekinesis, or slaves. *shrug*
The daleks have those sucker things that they can use to manipulate objects.
In anycase, saw the episode Silence in the Library last friday night, can't wait to see the follow up tomorrow night. Definitely a much better quality of Who episode, that was.
I haven't seen that episode. I like the new series, but I'm not as diligent about catching episodes of it as I was with the old series. Tom Baker ftw!
You know [] is back.
*furious*
The finale were crap.
*torches BBC*
Not sure if I've seen the finale…
All I want to see is that if they continue the series beyond Tennant, I think that they should turn to an older actor for variety. Principally, I'm thinking:

I finally saw the end of Season 2. Great stuff. And I got my hands on Season 3. I've seen the finale to that and a few other episodes, but nothing else from it. I did catch the first two-three episodes of Season 4, though.
Okay, right now I'm up to "Human Nature." So far its very good, maybe even great. None of the episodes have been bad or weak at all, which is remarkable. This weekend I'll also hopefully get back to watching more of Season 2. There's some episodes from it I haven't viewed yet. Season 1 to me is good/solid, but kind of unremarkable in some areas. Season 2 appears to be quite good. I've only seen the first two episodes of Season 4, but I liked what I saw. Rose may be the best companion the Doctor's had during the show's run, but Martha is my favorite. Hopefully I'll be able to see Season 4 relatively soon.

I beg to differ. Nothing against Rose but can she really compareā¦
