Dude wtf?
Yeah, I was just listening to that on the news. Somebody (prank?) called 911, from inside the building apparently. The police said it was a hoax.
Well that is weak but thank God that over the alternative.
I never got to do a Destiny 2 Raid, but that very first one in Destiny 1 is still one of the better crafted things i"ve seen in a game. Just needed a true team to make it through.
I dont know how any of the follow up RAIDs worked, but the fact that you literally had a maze in the middle of the RAID, where Bungy basically just said "figure it out" was kind of neat. Finding someone that new how to go through the maze in your group (and avoiding those sentry things that killed you instantly) was rare.
Meg I take it the tough baddie you were talking about was Trilla, Cere's sister right? She's tough and fast, parrying is nigh on impossible, so I'm trying to strike during those special moves of hers when she's posing for a brief second. Died about 15 times, but before I called it a night, I was able to reduce her health at the midway point twice so that tells me something. :) It's also at this point that she starts introducing some new stuff like homing in on you and, well, sucking your soul out of you. It was an insta-kill twice. I refuse to dial down the difficulty.
Yep. Brutal.
Any word on when another 10 PS5's will be released?
I just downloaded Sekiro, (thanks Stalker). I should be good for awhile before PS5 hunting again.
I gotta get a new TV before I can get a PS5 anyway.
It's been a slow go with transforming my office/game room.
Meg, I fucking did it! :) Beat Trilla, that's on Jedi Grandmaster. Gave myself a few days off after I couldn't beat her the first 20 rounds. Just let things sink in. :) Although I had already learned a few things, like only strike when she's well and truly done with her combo. At which point I ususally unleashed my special move whereby Cal would split his double bladed light sabre into 2 and strike hard. Takes off a big chunk of her energy. Maybe slow her down first if I was too far away. I just looked online for minor guidance and the only thing I took away from that was what I already knew, strike when she's done with her combo, then I closed the webpage for fear of learning too much. The 9 stims were still kinda utterly necessary to have.
Took me like 5 tries today, and kinda amazed how smoothly it went down, without aggravation, without sweaty hands. I just dealt with her.
Big surprise too at the end, was kinda glad it wasn't another drawn out boss fight.
Back to Bloodborne now. And perhaps start a new game, thinking of Doom Eternal.
I didn't start Doom Eternal yet. Instead, doing an older game and perhaps no surprise it's another one from Respawn, Titanfall 2. What can I say? It looks like a colorful, satisfying shooter with punchy weapons and some Jedi fallen order moves.
Welp... the Sweden-based Embracer Group (parent company of THQ Nordic) has just gone on a shopping spree, and fully acquired 13 gaming studios/companies today... including ours. And here I was, just wanting some peace until the pandemic is over...

FINALLY beat super tough late game Sekiro boss Demon of Hatred. Trophy popped, and I'm shocked to see 25% of PS4 players have it. Figured it would be way lower. Sekiro is more popular than I thought.
On to final boss now, then should be smooth sailing to platinum.
EDIT: It should be smooth sailing to the platinum, except I forgot to mention I have to back up my save to the PS4 cloud so I can get all the endings without having to play through the game FOUR times. I'm a little nervous about the backup, so if anyone has experience with this...
Congrats Stalker!
Titanfall 2 is nothing super complex but dayum is it a Fun blast. It nails one thing really Well, making me feel powerful and colossal when in titan mode. Love The unusually colorful but still pleasing levels. Titan VS Titan Brings back memories of Sega's Virtual On arcade games.
I thought Titanfall 2 was one of the best shooter campaigns i have ever played. Amazing stuff.

Oh yeah! From The developer of Hitman games. Completely original storyline.
Won't mean anything unless there's 4 player deathmatch.
Isn't this more like an interactive story than a shooter or traditional Bond type game?
I haven't gotten to watch the video yet. Just going by the IGN article which made it seem like it's halfway to a Telltale game.
