Drinking this New Belgium Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA. It's incredibly drinkable for a beer with such a high alcohol content (9%). Other beers from New Belgium I'm not such a fan of, but this one I think is special.
I like New Belgium a lot. The Voodo Ranger is good for what it is, just your basic fruity IPA. Drink enough of them and you won't care how they taste, haha.
I’ve had a lot of the Voodoo Ranger varietals. I had been trying all the different ones they’d been releasing, but then kind of wandered off for awhile.
I thought the sampler pack they had a while back was a nice variety. They even had a light beer included which I actually liked as a nice change of pace. Sometimes I get tired of the IPAs.
So, Michelob Ultra now has this seltzer. It has 0 sugars and 0 carbs. On the nutritional information, everything is listed as 0%. So, I'm not exactly sure what this exists of, but damn if it isn't the most refreshing thing. Plus, if some rum gets in the mix then seltzerizing the evening is icing on the cake.
That sounds weird but I guess it makes sense in terms of Ultra being the healthy booze option for people who want to drink but don't want to get fat from it.
Got me here this Victory Golden Monkey. Local gas station has revolving breweries in a 2/5 deal with 19.2 oz (odd capacity, sure there's a reason). Also Got Goose Island Bear Hug. If I've had either of these before, I don't remember. Get a few of these going and we shall see how they treat me.
Update: Victory isn't great. Like a very flagrant, but flaccid slap in the face. Bear Hug is great: lives up to the name.
Yes I've had Beer Hug and it is very tasty. I've only been able to find it in single cans so far.
On the side of this box of wine I'm drinking it says that it has 1/2 the carbon footprint of glass bottles. So, if I'm not buying by the box, I'm an asshole.
