Halfway through season 2 now... Do these guys have video game ammo? I remember early in the first season them rationing the little bit of ammo they had. Now I swear they act like the ammo is unlimited (target practicing, shooting things 3 and 4 times, etc.). It's actually bugging me that the ammo supply doesn't play any part in the drama.
Yeah I half-expected them to make a joke in their gun runs in S3 about "Okay, THIS time let's not waste our entire cache on one herd."
I just like how they have amazing accuracy against the zombies, but when it's time to fight humans, they can't hit a damn thing.
AMC marathon tonight and tomorrow of season 3. Missed the first episode and part of 2nd before tuning in. After I get around to watching what I record tomorrow (can't watch them live) I'll be all caught up. This season is more interesting so far.
Great season. All of it. Zombies are always good for a laugh, but this is the very first time that I started to feel sorry for them, as if I felt their pain due to their needlessly prolonged existence this time. []but my God[] It didn't occur to me they could still be alive, but when the camera peered into the hole, and []still moaning of course, but less energetically, I stopped breathing for a few seconds. I loved season two, but I gotta admit, they managed to even turn Carl into an absolute badass this time. Taciturn, cool under pressure, like a miniature Clint Eastwood. Finale wasn't the strongest episode as the big showdown that I anticipated never came.

AMC is getting spinoff crazy.

AMC announced today that the network is in the initial stages of developing a companion series to its original drama series The Walking Dead, which premiered on AMC in October of 2010. The Walking Dead is currently the #1 show on television among adults 18-49. Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert are on board as executive producers, with AMC Studios set to produce. The companion series has a target on-air date of 2015.
"Building on the success of the most popular show on television for adults 18-49 is literally a no-brainer," said Charlie Collier, AMC's president and general manager. "We look forward to working with Robert, Gale and Dave again as we develop an entirely new story and cast of characters. It's a big world and we can't wait to give fans another unforgettable view of the zombie apocalypse."
"After 10 years of writing the comic book series and being so close to the debut of our fourth, and in my opinion, best season of the TV series, I couldn't be more thrilled about getting the chance to create a new corner of The Walking Dead universe," said Kirkman. "The opportunity to make a show that isn't tethered by the events of the comic book, and is truly a blank page, has set my creativity racing."
I would say it's unnecessary and I'm not looking forward to it, but it makes complete sense for AMC to do this, and there's gotta be a group of characters in the series' universe more interesting than Rick's group, right?!
Can't not wait!
Frank doesn't take shit from anybody. Damn. I still like it.
Is anyone else still alive from season 1?
Finished the first 16 episodes of s11. I'm a bit in awe of this show right now. Not because it's top tier television, but that after 11 seasons (!) it's still legit riveting, and superior to lots of stuff that came before in previous seasons, and possibly going out on a high too. Bring on the last 8 please.
Thought I would give this series a try since I have AMC+ right now but they want money for season 1 et al...
