Based on the real life story of how 3 American soldiers abroad thwarted a terrorist attempt on a high speed train bound for Paris.
Amazingly, the soldiers will be played by themselves rather than actors.

Based on the acting on this trailer, this gamble probably didn't work.
Yeah, I couldn't ever put out of my mind that they were not real actors and it showed.
I wonder if he did this because he regretted not casting the real Sully instead of Tom Hanks.
This looks as strained and ham-fisted as Sniper and Sully, but without the benefit of compelling performers at the center. Hopefully this is the end of Eastwood's fascination with making feature-length films about short, intense headline events.
For me it's Letters from Iwo Jima (I'm not a fan of Torino at all). I have a huge gap of not seeing his stuff between Torino and Sniper, but I don't feel like I missed much other than a more apparent downward trajectory.Quote:

You watched it? The reviews for it are hilarious. Apparently the terrorist incident is in the last 15 min of the movie and the rest of it is just like, watch three Americans go on a European vacation, visiting touristy places and nightclubs.

I have to be honest, I see the commercials for them on TV and I really can't tell them apart. I guess I understand trying to broaden the appeal of Hollywood, but do they really have to look like the same damn movie. It's like the Middle America Cinematic Universe.
Only the Brave is about the California fires and has nothing to do with terrorism.
It's also really damn good too.
The 15:17 to Paris guys are from Sacramento too, which is hardly "middle America." Although I learned from Lady Bird that Sacramento is the midwest of California.
