It should go to Trout but Cabrera will surely win it. I've grown tired of arguing over silly awards so I'll just accept the poor choice and move on.

I'm just trying to ignore all of the Cabrera love for MVP.
Gooo A's! (again)
I'm in 3rd place in my fantasy team, and the guy below me (who I lead by 50 points) just picked up 5 probably starting pitchers going tonight. :-/
Teddy finally won a race at Nationals Park.

I'm not sure what my predictions were before the season, but I do know that my WS pick was horribly wrong. I knew it was wrong even when I posted it, but I just couldn't go with anything else for some reason. Although who knows? Maybe the Yankees if they make the post season have one more run in them. I doubt it.
Haha. Marlins and Philly. 5 of the 10 playoff teams isn't too terrible.Quote:

WS: Rays over Reds
In the least shocking news of the week, Bobby Valentine is one and done.
Worst manager ever? Quite possibly.
How long until Jim Tracy is gone from the Rox?
I'm not surprised they fired Bobby V. It was time.
I finished third in my Yahoo points league (sucks cause I was in first during the middle of the season), third in my ESPN playoff league (good, although I lost in the first round of the playoffs. I won in the consolation bracket), and I finished first in my other ESPN points league. Pretty solid fantasy baseball season, although if I do it next year I'm limiting myself to just one team.
My fantasy baseball season was an abject failure with a net loss of $226, only finishing 3rd in my cheapest league.
I hate fantasy baseball.
Yeah, my only baseball league was a complete failure, as usual. My team was autodrafted for me and it picked some players that weren't even available (Storen, Carpenter). I had Madson for a whole day before he was gone for the season, and another position player got hurt in April (I forget who, haven't even checked the team since June when I was already 40 games out).
It was a free league, so I'm not out anything really other than the little time I spent early in the year trying to juggle a crappy lineup.
Fell all the way to fourth in my roto league, but was 2nd in my H2H.
Strasburg is great to have, but that innings limit sure hurt me in September.
I won my fantasy league but no money was involved. Figures.
I've never played for money in fantasy baseball, and I never will. I'm leaving my fantasy football money league after this season.
Rumor of the day; Joe Torre wants to manage again and Sox are interested. :)
Yankees v Reds is my prediction.
That's be pretty shocking. John Farrell is supposed to be the favorite but the Blue Jays will try and block that from happening.
I think it'll be someone like Dave Martinez.

Embarrassing for Atlanta fans tonight

Poor Chipper Jones. It was his last game tonight.
I have Reds over Tigers in 6 for the World Series.
