Yep. Absolutely kicks ass.

I had a fully maxed out Ice Breakers on all three of my characters when I stopped playing in November. It's by far the most useful weapon in the game.
Just buy them digitally. What is it, 2012?
Multiple reasons not to go digital with Nintendo. First off the biggest system size is 32gb so unless you want to spend more money on a portable harddrive or have to delete stuff regularly you're out of luck. Also Nintendo is antiquated when it comes to their digital stuff. Everything you buy is attached at a system level and not to any sort of username like with Sony or Microsoft so if your system dies and is not recoverable you lose everything you bought on it.
I have tons of indie stuff and virtual console games digitally on my Wii U but I would never buy $60 retail games that way.
I'll be honest. When I first started playing Dying Light, I wasn't so sure I'd make a good purchase. I am happy to say that several hours into it, it really begins to blossom. Now that I'm a fairly competent zombie killer, things are starting to look up.
The day/night thing is pretty inspired. During the day there are slow and fast zombies. The fast zombies are much rarer and are much scarier when you can't really hold your own in a fight. Once you're competent, one or two aren't too difficult, and running around during the day becomes a blast.
I got stuck outside at night by accident pretty early on (watch your clock!!), when I was still near-defenseless. It was quite crazy, running my ass off with a bunch of only-come-out-at-night uber-zombies on my tail. These fuckers are crazy fast and scary. They look a bit like the uber-vampires from Blade II. My heart and adrenaline were legitimately pumping.
I still haven't mastered the look-behind-you move.
After completing the first of (I'm assuming) many night missions, I started getting a little cocky about the daytime zombies. I'd been exploring today. I saw and open door into a shack. It was dark inside. I waltzed in not a care in the world and before my eyes could adjust to the dark, a fast zombie SCREAMED in my face and attacked me.
I screamed and almost dropped the controller.
My character nearly died.
I'm still laughing about it.
Are you playing solo?

DD's GOTY.
My Stinker of the Year.
The story of the Tomb Raider reboot was pretty embarrassing, but the presentation and gameplay were good enough to carry it. I expect Rise will be better. Regardless of what happens, that snow looks incredible.
If they go back to all Tomb Raiding and less combat, like the first TR, it could be awesome. But they probably won't.
Also, XBone exclusive, so I won't be playing it.
Is anyone here excited at all for The Order? Good lord does that every look boring and generic. Looks like Sony's answer to Gears of War, almost 10 years too late.
And from what I hear, the tutorials and hand-holding continue well into the 5th of 7 chapters in the game, and a lot of the game pretty much plays itself - for instance, you will often pop into cover automatically and then you basically just play a little shooting gallery type set piece.
Hopefully it turns out better than the word on the street right now.
Ugh. Bloodborne is getting $12 of day-1 DLC - costumes.
Well, at least it's not $150 of day-1 DLC.
But still....
The sad thing is that there will be people who buy it.
Is it a continuation of the reboot or a stand alone deal?
Certainly looks pretty if those shots are indicative of the true visuals.
It's a continuation.
Anyone play A Dark Room on iOS? So good.
Also, anyone finally play 80 Days on iOS?
I'm excited to see reviews for The Order. As a PS fan, I can't help but hope for an awesome game. Plus, if nothing else, the atmosphere looks great.
