Happy birthdayish, Wats!
Happy B-day Wats, from you favorite boarder. That's right bitches, I'm Wats' #1! Bet y'all're jealous!

Shit Wats, I must have missed the icon at the bottom of the page. Had I seen it, I would have made you a thread. Happy Birthday. Sorry I slipped up.
I love these new Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos.
So, The Kids in the Hall are doing a tour this Spring and that's awesome. What isn't awesome is the ambiguity as to whether or not they're actually coming to Salt Lake.
Go figure. I buy a new car, and a spring blizzard kicks in a couple days later.
Thats right Minnesota residents, the blizzard is MY fault! :P
All us Iowans got was rain. We were lucky, although some hail was involved. What a wet soddy mess it was outside.
Since Wats already has a boner in his life, belated birthday wishes from this 'gina pale in comparison.
I just significantly upgraded my picture taking hardware. I've been using a Casion 7.1 Exlim for quite awhile now (great outdoor shots, horseshit indoor shots). I ordered a Canon XTI Body, and have also picked up a 1.4 50mm lense and a telephoto lense.
Tonight I'm actually going back to campus later tonight to complete a group project. That's the first time I've ever done so. I just don't see the point of remaining on campus after 3 or 4 pm, and even that feels late.
Last semester I would stay overnight in the CAD lab pretty consistently. I've never had so much work in my life.
This economist on BBC Radio sounds disturbingly like my uncle.
I'm buying a laptop soon.
I've never owned one before, and I honestly have no idea what to look for and/or purchase.
Any advice?
Buy one that's good, but unless you're planning on using it as your primary system for gaming or video watching, I'd probably not worry too much about the proverbial bells and whistles. I'd imagine you're probably going to use it primarily for word processing and whatnot. If so, don't bog the poor thing down with much software at all.
