At the age of 37, I just made my final student loan payment.
Past couple days my wife has been helping out her friend deal w/ an abusive husband. Tonight they served him papers and what not and got custody of the kids.
He wouldn't give them the car seats for the kids because it wasn't specifically listed in the papers. Fortunately, the deputy was able to convince him to give them the car seats.
Might have to write him a thank you note....
You and your wife are good people to help like that.

It's gotten to the point where UPS doesn't even knock at the door anymore. They just set the packages there. The last two days I've left for work to a package sitting in front of my door.
