Wow you're right. 100% drop rate pushed me to 25 last night. I got a legendary in all 6 missions I played. (I think it only drops Chest and Head gear)Quote:

Sounds like I have some work to do. I'm at level 8 or so. Spent the first half of the week on the road.
I'm finding the Queen stuff to be a lot of fun. I also can't believe how challenging her missions are (the ones you need tickets for).
Last night I did one with a guy who is level 26 (I'm 24) and it was the second mission of the game, where you kill the Archon at the end ("It's in the walls!"). It took us 7 attempts!
I just quit all of the Queens missions that aren't the Earth one. You can finish it in 3-4 minutes. There's no point in spending more than 5 minutes on these missions. So if you're struggling, just re-enter until you get the Earth mission. It's a waste of time.
I'm not doing it just for the grind, though. I'm enjoying them!Quote:

I played Crucible last night. The problem I was running into was that everyone else in the thing was level 20+, and with me at a lowly 11, I was getting picked off ALL the time. I would spawn, walk for maybe 20 seconds until i found a bad guy, fire at him, putting atiny dent in his health if I'm lucky, then he'd turn around to see me, bam i'm dead, one shot. Frustrating. Then, there's also the fact that I suck balls at PvP FPS.
Just an FYI, Everyone scales in Crucible so level doesn't matter, unless you assoicate level with them playing for much longer than you and they probably have some upgrades with their subclass (invisibility, speed, regeneration)Quote:

Stuff that matters is: Impact (why people can 1 shot you with shotguns) or Rate of Fire (why you can't put a dent into someone but they can obliterate you).
So keep playing, keep collecting Rares and make your way to 20 and +Light that shit up.
