I loved the 90s series.
I finished the latest season of Big Mouth last night.
I'm saving it lol. Wife and I will dive in soon. Love that show.
I noticed on my acct my 16 year old daughter had watched a couple eps. I told her, "I don't know that you're quite ready for that." She said "Yeah, its pretty gross and I didn't quite get it."
Wife and I agree, its hilariously accurate to sex and that age, but its also designed for people that have been through it and can reflect on it. Not for people currently going through it. To be clear, we dont edit the daughter too much...but on some things...
Big Mouth had been pretty great for three seasons. Season 4 is still good, but I feel like it's the weakest one so far, with more than a few storylines and character arcs starting to feel too repetitive now. Two fresh exceptions: Missy's arc (which is GREAT, just incisive, new, and funny) and Jay-Lola's romance, which veers Jay away from past too-juvenile-for-me material (though unfortunately it doesn't stick to the season's end), and they are hilarious together.

New season is mighty entertaining. Cheesy at times, but self-aware and tropey about the cheese.
I'm going through most of the major 2020 Netflix originals this month since I might as well.
Just finished the Challenger: The Final Flight docu-series from last year. As a foreigner that had only known about this incident only through cultural osmosis (like that GLOW episode), I hadn't considered until I actually sat down to watch it just how devastating this would be throughout. Teared up at least once every ep.
I have it in my queue but I dont know that I can do it. I remember them wheeling the tv in to class and watching the whole thing live. Afterwards they turned the tv off and everyone went home early. I dont have a lot of memories of grade school, but I'll never forget that.
