She also pulls a gun out her snatch. That shit is unseemly, yo.
Yeah. Put it in a freezer-safe ziploc bag, press out the air, and toss it in the freezer. The only thing tricky about freezing bacon is that you don't want to defrost it in the microwave-- it will make a huge mess. Put it back in the fridge for a day instead.
Also: Italy. So jealous.
i'm more jealous of his bacon surplus.
Reminded of this classic article.
Moving again. This time I'm taking a basement in a house. Looking forward to it because it's like my own apartment, except I just go upstairs for cooking.
It's nice and cool down there all the time so i'll be able to conecentrate on writing some more also. Can never write if it's hot in my place.
Good luck with the move, hope the place is conducive to creativity; that's always a concern of mine when I move. I've lived in some places where the creative energy flowed non-stop, and in other places that were a creative desert.
I'll be moving to my new place on Sept. 25th. Looking forward to it. I'm almost all packed up - I pack well, and early - and I'm hiring movers.
I recently got rid of (at Half Price books) 14 paper-boxes full of books, games and DVDs...and I still have about 25 boxes full. So much stupid stuff!
4g is just a faster data connection than 3g, meaning better streaming, downloading, internet etc
as far as coverage goes, just check out the map to see if you are:

and even if you aren't yet, it just means you'll be on a 3g connection for now
hey now. i've actually never noticed my lack of signature until you mentioned it. i just don't really rate or review the media i consume, and updating would be such a hassle
anyway, i have no idea where that wats post i responded to came from. i just clicked the thread title in the main forum and just assumed it took me to the last page in the thread

I'm moving at the end of the month as well. Mostly because I was sick of the long-ass commute to work, which will now be cut down from ~30 miles each way to 5. And more importantly, I'm cutting out almost all of the traffic so I'll easily be saving 5+ hours a week and probably around $75-100/month in gas. I'm in a house now and moving into a studio, so I'm losing some things and gaining others. The nice thing about the new place is it's the second floor back corner apartment in a two-story building, so I get more natural light, cross-breeze (which is huge for the summers since I'll be more inland now), a bit more space and only have one person next to me. And the landlord said all the new tenants that have moved in to the second floor apartments recently are women, so there's that too. It's a nice central locations, just west of downtown too so I'm close to a lot of great areas.
I've dumped/donated a LOT of my stuff as well, Davis. I can't bring myself to get rid of DVDs and books, but I've donated a couple trash bags full of old clothes and gotten rid of most of the other junk I haven't used in the last year or two. It'll be nice to move relatively light this time around.
I'm also annoyed RE: roommate in that I was very explicit about the fact that there is no storage space in my house. I took pictures and everything. Now she's getting her things out of storage and asked if there's anywhere she could tuck five suitcases.
...no, there isn't. It's 700 square feet and built in 1920. There's no basement. There's no attic. I finally pointed out there's a little bit of space under the stairs where I tucked stuff, but not much because the entryway is so small that you can only store slim things in there.
She said (for real), "Well, can you knock out the wall?"
...no, I'm not going to knock out the wall. Sheesh.
Kinda glad to be leavin' on a jet plane for ten days.
You might come back from vacation to find a wall missing.
In case my visual was insufficiently painted, this is a wall that is holding up the stairs.
Not to be negative, but...I don't know if I would trust someone who's completely broke...living in my house...with all my things around (I've had a couple of bad experiences before). I guess her references checked out ok?
Why does one person have five suitcases?
