Poor Beatrice Mousie died last night. Bianca, who seemed so cavalier about it yesterday, had buried her under some wood chips, and after I took the little body out Bianca went running all over the cage looking for her. That made me sad.

I went to the cardiologist today.
After a 2 1/2 hour wait in the waiting room (I mean, come on guys, I know that's what the room is called, but gimme a break), I saw the doc.
After looking at some tests, and doing a couple of simple rechecks, he said that since I had a stress test in February and it came back 100% normal, that the chest X-Ray and the stomach ultrasound also came back normal, and that there's no signs of anything that raise a red flag for him NOW, my heart is FINE.
He said that most likely what I am experiencing is severe GERD aggravated by a hyatial hernia, and that the one thing I HAVE to change immediately is to stop ingesting caffeine in any form.
He also recommended smaller meals, as larger meals make it easier for GERD to affect me.
You know what, doc? You got it. No problemo. If its not my heart, I'll be happy to do anything to make sure it stays that way.
Additionally, a lot of the pain in my chest is due to my pectoral muscle, which I injured at the camping trip but still apparently hasn't healed and may need to be looked at to see if there's a tear anywhere.
Still, its not my heart or my lungs, so I consider it a win :D
