So Battlefield 3 on the Xbox 360 asks me to install an HD texture pack. One would think this should have been part of the retail version all along. True enough, HD pack-less graphics have some fugly textures. Surround sound, from the little I played, was reference quality. I'm expecting decent shooting action. Sometimes you play games to be done with them and trade them in. I heard MP was top notch though.
First Heavy Rain wouldn't install. Second Heavy Rain froze as soon as I saw my son for the first time. God doesn't want me to play this game. If the first fifteen minutes indicates what comes later than I don't want play it either.
Speaking of Heavy Rain...here is the Beyond script...

No wonder it's never going to be released.
Laurel wreaths? That's fucking hilarious.
Also, I just read that those pages are all blank. Good times.
Yeh it's just a placeholder to display how much dialog there is in the game.
It's a dippy PR strategy.
....in your option.
Of course it is. There's not even a doubt.
Reminds me of a YouTube argument I saw on the trailer for "Dark Souls II" where one guy insisted they weren't RPGs because they didn't have hours and hours and hours of dialogue.
So Nintendo didn't meet their numbers for the Wii-U (because they stupidly based them off Wii sales) and because of this they aren't even holding a traditional E3 presser like Sony, Microsoft, EA and Ubisoft.
Quote:
In their just released financial statement, Nintendo has revealed that they won't be holding their traditional E3 keynote address. Rather than the usual presentation in a huge auditorium, announcements and reveals will be handled bia their Nintendo Direct webcast presentations
So, the Wii U is looking like a pretty Epic Fail so far...
david cage is the biggest blowhard in videogames
fuk david cage and anybody that love em
Fuck you too Acapelli. :-)
I'm definitely waiting on Beyond Two Souls. I'm not gonna be suckered into buying another game like Heavy Rain only to discover this "interactive fiction" is anything but. Again.
Beat "Injustice" as Sinestro and Catwoman the other day.
I think I'm about halfway through the characters. I wanted to prioritize all of the characters I hadn't play yet in the story mode.
So, we're splitting hairs again?
A cursory search on Google:

IGN's description: "Heavy Rain is a cinematic and evolving thriller from Quantic Dream, the developer behind the critically acclaimed Fahrenheit. Dealing with a range of adult themes, the game revolves around a sophisticated plot and strong narrative threads that explore a complex moral proposition. You assume the role of multiple characters, with very different backgrounds, motivations and skills, in a world shaped by Bending Storylines - a dynamic narrative design where your actions and decisions will shape your story.

I'm sorry it didn't live up to your expectations but the game does change based on your actions. It's just the finale you're upset about that didn't change.
That the finale didn't change based on your actions is a pretty big deal, and rendered much of the rest of its story elements pretty stupid.
If anything should be radically different, it should be the ending. The game was one long quicktime event without any kind of satisfactory resolution. The fact that the twist in the story remains the same no matter what you do is a pretty fucking major oversight.
:D
also i doubt anyone is aware of this, but i'm kinda quoting lil wayne with that
