On some days I'd say "The Simpsons" (particularly seasons 3 to 9) is the greatest TV show of all time.

It's definitely the greatest part of a TV series of all time.

Also, season 2 is one of the best seasons. How dare you leave it off.

Embroidery was something my mom used to do on our clothes when we were little and I have always been fascinated by it. I have lots of ideas and plans, but little drawing skills so I'm easily frustrated.

i'd say up until 8. 9 is still good, but you can start to notice the decline there

The show jumped the shark at "Homer's Enemy." It skied past a few times before, and I thought the episode itself was genius, but that shoulda been the last one.

pretty much. season 8 is the last completely great season. season 9 is pretty good. after that it gets progressively worse.

"the secret war of lisa simpson" was great. not as good as season 7's lisa-centric finale though

but the spin-off showcase was really bad

Lisa's Wedding was the last "masterpiece" episode.

Though The Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie Show is my favorite season 8 episode.

i prefer "you only move twice", "hurricane neddy" and "the mysterious voyage of homer" to the poochie episode

but really i love almost every episode from season 8
